White Day

Mar 14 is known as "White Day" or 白色情人节...not that well-known...haha. basically when a lady receives a gift from a man on Valentines' Day, the lady will then return the favour by giving gift to the man. This day was said to began in Fukuoka in the 1960s whereby a marshmallow maker who started marketing to men that should pay back ladies who gave them chocolate or any gifts with marshmallows. hmmm.indeed a great 促销手法!!

there comes another day.. Black Day.. haha... celebrated onli in S.Korea. this day is when those who didn't receive gifts on valentine's day or white day will den gathered to eat Jja-jang-Myeon(짜장면)..a type of noodle with black sauce ....to commiserate their singledom~!...haha. most probably this 促销手法 by a jja-jang noodle stall....(?)
