" As far as the east is from west,
so far has He removed our transgressions from us"
Psalm 103:12
juz came back frm my church retreat (or camp). it was held in st.teresa church for 3 days (27 Nov-29 Nov)initially,i wasn't looking forward for this camp.but it turn out to be an amazing camp which draws me nearer to God.
the highlight of the day was the 'faith walk'.we were blind-folded and was told to walk down a slope.i felt totally lost while walking(was afraid of falling down from the slope ah)..then walk alone in the bright columbarium...then later to the 'super dark' auditorium..heard the creepy voice of ben... "push...."..honestly speaking i wasn't afraid becuz i was walking in a church a.k.a the house of God..(hee, and i brought my rosary along wif me)
"Be not afraid, I go before you always,
Come follow me, and i will give you rest"
on the 2nd day, i was extremely tired 2 an extent that the moment i close my eyes,i was in dreamland..we were told to repent our sins.ltr the catechumens had a chat with father andrew (parish priest of christ the king) and the others who were baptised had a chance to go for the sacrament and rite of reconciliation a.k.a confession.i had a chat wif father andrew.didn't expect him to be friendly and fatherly.we had taize chant ltr in an air-conditioned room.taize is monotonous(which makes me feel lyk slping)but a beautiful prayer.we had the exposition of the blessed sacrament.the body of christ is truly present in the blessed sacrament.aniwae, we got to fast b4 our prayers.fasting is oso a form of prayer.i truly sense jesus' presence during the fast.to me,the fast is a highlight of the 2nd day of the camp.
"O God, in this wonderful Sacrament, You have left us a memorial of your Passion.
We ask You to enable us,so to worship the sacred mysteries ofyour Body and Blood, that we may constantly feel in our live the effects of your Redemption. You who live and reign forever and ever.Amen."
we had mass on the 2nd and 3rd day. 28th Nov marks the start of the liturgical calendar.(Year A).yupx, oso the start of Advent, the preperation of the nativity of our lord and saviour.
last but nt least, i enjoyed all the praise and worship sessions during these 3 days.all of us were praising and worshipping God wholeheartedly.
truly, the almightly God can satisfy us in our every need.all our earthly past times we enjoy (shopping, watching TV,surfing net.. bla bla..) is juz an occasional indulgence that we do on earth.wad is most important is the eternal reward that we receive thru faith.thru christ, we can acknowledge God as 'Abba' or 'Father'.
Jesus answered, " I am the way,the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
John 14:5-7
thank u sponsers, befrienders, facillitators and fellow catechumens for making this retreat a success. thank u guys for the warm fuzzies (iz this spelling rite?)..
-conclusion-: i've truly acknowledge and accept christ as my lord and saviour.i juz want to worship and praise God forever, from the bottom of my heart. Abba, pls lead me to Your way..
"Not my will but Thy be done."
